Who this is for

Support designed for real life

Every plan is adapted to the person in front of us. That includes communication style, comfort level, sensory needs, energy, schedule, and goals.

Teens

For participants who benefit from predictable structure, clear encouragement, and gradual confidence-building.

Young adults

For those building independence, self-direction, and sustainable daily routines.

Adults

For individuals seeking accountability, movement support, and calmer, more consistent wellness habits.

Caregivers

For families looking for respectful, non-clinical support that keeps autonomy and dignity at the center.

What support looks like

Five practical areas of focus

Adaptive movement

Accessible, confidence-building movement designed to feel safe, achievable, and relevant to everyday life.

Nutrition habits

Simple, realistic nourishment support that respects sensory preferences and avoids shame or rigid rules.

Routine support

Clear, repeatable structure that reduces stress, supports consistency, and makes healthy habits easier to maintain.

Wellness tools

Non-clinical strategies for self-awareness, regulation, recovery, and steadier day-to-day functioning.

Growth over time

Support for confidence, independence, participation, and self-trust — built through repetition, encouragement, and sustainable pacing.

What coaching is

Educational and lifestyle-based support that helps participants build routines, confidence, and functional wellbeing.

How it works

A process that stays calm and clear

1

Fit call

Talk through goals, needs, preferences, and whether Root to Rise is the right fit.

2

Intake and planning

Gather practical context so support can be safe, realistic, and individualized.

3

Coaching sessions

Meet online for structured, repeatable sessions focused on movement, routine, wellness, and growth.

4

Ongoing adjustments

Refine goals, reinforce progress, and adapt the plan as needs change over time.

For parents and caregivers

You remain part of the process

Caregiver collaboration can be included when appropriate. That may look like a shared fit call, occasional check-ins, or practical ways to support consistency at home.

The participant’s autonomy remains central. Support is collaborative, not controlling.

What families often value

  • Clear expectations and communication
  • Respect for autonomy and dignity
  • Safe, predictable pacing
  • Practical tools instead of pressure
Funding and reimbursement

Careful, honest language from the start

Services are generally private-pay unless otherwise stated. Receipts are available for services rendered, but receipts do not guarantee insurance reimbursement or funding eligibility.

Some clients may be able to explore community, caregiver, employment, or individualized funding depending on their province, insurer, program, and provider requirements.

Before someone books

Ask your insurer, funding coordinator, case worker, program administrator, or accountant what documentation they require and whether services from a non-clinical coach can be considered.
